Looking for a unique and relaxing experience during your trip? Join us for a short escape to Nyksund, one of the most iconic fishing villages in Vesterålen.
We’ll pick you up directly at the bus stop in Sortland and take you to Nyksund, where time slows down and nature surrounds you.
You’ll stay at the historic Holmvik Brygge, your home for two nights.
Your stay starts with a warm welcome and a delicious 3-course dinner – full of local flavors, served in a cosy maritime setting.
In the evening, take a walk through the village, enjoy the fresh sea air, and discover the quiet beauty of Nyksund.
Your Day in Nyksund – Choose Your Own Pace
After a big breakfast (and a chance to make a lunch pack to go), the day is yours.
You can:
Join a RIB boat tour along the wild and beautiful coastline (book on the day)
Take a short hike in the nearby hills
Try the famous Dronningruta trail – one of the most stunning hikes in Northern Norway
Or simply relax, read a book, or enjoy the views
In the evening, another 3-course dinner awaits you at Holmvik Brygge – fresh, local, and made with love.
The next morning, after breakfast and optional lunch-to-go, we’ll bring you back to Sortland at 10:00.
You’ll arrive around 11:00 – with time to explore the town or continue your journey on the southbound Hurtigruten.
